Ships at Instow, probably 1932

Back in 2016 we posted a picture of a number of ships tied up near Instow in the 1930s due to the Depression.

This picture from the same time period gives us a closer view of three steamships; from the left Relillio, Ladykirk and Rhio. They were all managed by John Cory and Sons of Cardiff and were on the Torridge in late 1931 and early 1932 until they were sold together in May or June. They were re-registered in Helsinki under the names Wilke, Wiides and Wirma.
